Craft beer festivals, brand new pool parties, rooftop parties and more.

It's a busy few weeks for social drinkers in Singapore, with a bunch of booze-focused events, both big and small, focusing on everything from craft beer and cheap Millers, to fancy wines and dirt-cheap free-flows. Here's the rundown.

Craft Beer Week returns

It all kicks off this weekend with the third edition of Craft Beer Week, with a slew of bars around town participating and lots of special parties, including ones at Kult Kafe and Paulaner Brauhaus, meet-the-brewer events and $20 deals on food and drink. More hereAug 20-27

$20 free-flow wine anyone?

Have you been to the new-ish, alfresco-ish, South American-ish terrace bar at Suntec yet? Terra is having a Weekday Winedown, in partnership with Chilean winemaker PengWine. $20 gets you as much of their featured white and red as you want (for two hours), and there are also deasl on food: $10 tacos, Latin-leaning hotdogs, and the like. Or how about $10 craft beers

As part of Craft Beer Week, partner bars on Circular Road (Draft & Craft, Mogambo and Hero's) are teaming up to offer $10 craft beer bottles, with each venue stocking a different selection. Details here. Aug 27

Or a sundown party at Customs House

Japanese fusion restaurant and bar Kinki is launching the originally titled Kinkilicious, a new sundown party serious. No cover charge, special prices on Jim Bean Citrus Highballs, Darly C and William J from Darker Than Wax and lovely views of the water. More here. Aug 27

Skinny's is having a block party

For good, old fashioned, American-style revelry, head over to Skinny's first block party over at Boat Quay. The affordable-cocktail, faux-dingy KTV is promising squirt guns of Jameson, $10 Millers, beer pong and lots more. More here. Aug 28

Cuscaden's hotspot is back

Hard Rock Cafe Singapore closed back in May for a revamp, and we're pleased to report it's back and having an official reopening. We haven't seen the place yet, but rock fans will be intrigued by what they're promising to be an all-new memorabilia collection. Updates here. Sep 1

There's a new pool party in town

There have been a few places, like Sofitel and W Hotel Singapore, hogging all the pool party points in recent months. So we're intrigued by a new kid on the block. Hotel Jen Orchardgateway is launching Oasis Urban Pool Party in a couple weeks, with DJs spinning Afro and Latin funk, reggae and hip hop, for a $25 that includes one drink. More hereSep 3

Oktoberfest comes early

Only amateurs think Oktoberfest happens in October. In most places in Europe, it's actually mid-September (the official dates this year are Sep 17-Oct 3 in Munich). So purists should head to Swiss Club, where it's happening even earlier. Expect 2,000 people in a breezy tent, German bites like sausages, crispy pork knuckles and potato salads. Entrance starts at $65. More hereSep 7-11

$1 wine tastings (almost)

A three-part extravaganza this year, the Savour food festival series is on event #2, with a big focus on wine. There will be a huge wine market next to the Marina Bay Exhibition Centre, with over 400 wine labels and gourmet dishes priced at $6 and $12. But our favorite part has to be the wine tasting card. Get one early enough and it's $15 for 10 wine tastings. More hereSep 9-11
