Two of Bangkok’s best cocktail bars, Vesper and Il Fumo, invite one of the head honchos in the world of drink-pouring to take over their bars this Mar 22-23.

Slovakian-born Erik Lorincz, winner Diageo’s World Class Global comp back in 2010, heads behind the bar at Vesper on Mar 22 (7pm-late) for the Silom cocktail hot-spot's second birthday celebrations. He’ll then be at sister bar-and-restaurant Il Fumo the next night, also starting at 7pm.

Lorincz's day job is head bartender at the Savoy London’s American Bar, which placed 5th in the World’s 50 Best Bars 2015. His drinks at Vesper and Il Fumo will focus on five American Bar classics including gin, bourbon, cognac, Scotch and rum-based cocktails, and be priced from B380-450.
