RCA’s indie hot spot Cosmic Cafe inaugurated a new party room on the top floor, the Fish Room, for a couple of big shows earlier this month: Club Soma’s Riot Grrrls party and Trasher’s Lok Don Tree. The sparse room got very hot and had people running downstairs to cool down and buy drinks if their poison wasn’t Heineken, Singha or Sangsom. If it weren’t for Club Soma and Trasher’s ability to fill up a room with a hip crowd, the Fish would have been flapping around for water.
