This month's Bangkok Bar Show will celebrate the city's thriving drinking scene.

Taking place for the first time this Jun 28-30, the event will comprise a massive fair at the riverside Lhong 1919 complex, as well as a slew of satellite events, guest shifts and parties at some of Bangkok's most buzzing cocktail bars.

Across two days (Jun 29-30), show-goers will be able to check out booths from hundreds of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) brands, from international big names like Absolut, Duvel, Four Pillars and Hendrick's to locals Issan Rum, Chalong Bay and Phraya.

During this time, there will also be seminars on all things booze-related, including topics such as “ATLAS: The Art of Martini” by Jesse Vida from ATLAS, the Singapore speakeasy that recently ranked no. 5 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars list and no. 8 in World’s 50 Best Bars 2019, and “The World of Foraging” by Matt Whiley from Scout, the minimalist bar in London that was ranked no. 28 in World’s 50 Best Bars 2019.

Bangkok Bar Show kicks off on Jun 28 with an opening event at #FindThePhotoBooth presided over by David Ong (curator of Asia's 50 Best Bars) and Boo Jing Heng of Tess Bar (Singapore Bartender of the Year 2017). Guest shifts will also take place throughout the weekend at bars such as Vesper, Q&A, Teens of Thailand, Asia Today and Rabbit Hole, with a closing party at Tropic City on Jun 30 that will feature a pop-up from Hong Kong-based cocktail bar COA (no.12 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019) and its founder Jay Khan.  See the full list of events
