Remember that super decadent chocolate and cheese buffet spread available every evening at Club55? It was the perfect way to round off the night after dinner at one of the many celebrity restaurants at Marina Bay Sands; even though some might say it was overindulgent.

Well, it’s now gone and in its place is a new evening programme called Flights of Fancy. As the name suggests, you can have your pick from the many different flights available. There are currently seven categories to choose from—white wine, sparkling, old world red, new world red, dessert wine, sake (and sochu) and beer—with each flight comprising three labels from the chosen category.

You can have the flights by themselves, but top up, and a pairing of three petit plaits catered to each flight category is also available. The food portions are rather generous (slightly more than an appetiser) with dishes like pan seared scallop, duck rillette and artisanal cheeses offered.

The real sell here is the price. The flight of beers (three 90ml pours of craft beers) will set you back only $18, while the flight of old world red wines (three glasses of 60ml pours) costs just $25. It’s great especially for those who want to try a variety of drinks, rather than go for volume. Plus, with panoramic views of picturesque Marina Bay 55 floors down, Club55 is the place to stay classy while enjoying your late-night drinks.

Flights of Fancy happens Mon-Thu from 8pm-midnight, and Fri-Sun from 8.30pm-midnight at Club55.
