Bhutanese grunge band North H plays Bangkok next week
Looking for something different to do next week? This trio ready to bring the thunder (dragon).
North H is back in Bangkok next week for two shows at Speakerbox in Thonglor and The Rock Pub just off the Ratchathewi BTS.
Hailing from Thimpu, Bhutan, the trio features Ugyen Tenzin on vocals and guitar, Karma Dupchu on bass, and Rabi Kumar Ghalay on drums. The band was formed in 2014, influenced by the likes of Nirvana, AC/DC, and Guns n Roses—who will also be playing Bangkok this November.
Before Covid ruined everything, they made regular appearances in Bangkok, last playing in the capital in 2020.
Fresh off of their Korea tour and No Mercy Fest, the band makes their way first to The Rock Pub on Oct 19 and then Thonglor’s Speakerbox on Oct 20 where they will play alongside Bangkok regulars Silly Machine and Revive 90’s.
