Thailand's Diageo World Class-winning dream team take over Vesper.

Back in June, Vesper's Milk Pailin took the top honor at the the Southeast Asia finals of the Diageo World Class bartender competition in Bali.

What’s more, the whole Thailand team—comprising  Backstage Bar's Neung Ronnaporn and Gov Kittibordee and Bamboo Bar's Ann Pinsuda—was awarded The Best Southeast Asia Bar Team 2016. 

Now, before Milk heads off to Miami for the finals this September, she'll team up with the rest of the gang this Thu, Aug 25, for a special one-off event at Soi Convent's Vesper.

The night will spotlight eight cocktails—two from each bartender. Milk will present her award-winning concoction Thai Thai (Ketel One vodka, jasmine rice reduction, kaffir lime syrup, grapefruit bitters and lime), in which the uniquely Thai flavor of jasmine rice blends in so well with the other flavors.

Another interesting cocktail to try comes from Neung of Backstage Bar. Lover Club, using Tanqueray gin, strawberries and watermelon puree, smoke syrup, lemon and egg white, is a playful twist on the classic Clover Club. We recommend it as a starter as it's quite easy to drink.
