Wine, glorious wine.

For your opportunity to spend four hours tasting over 300 wine labels from over 30 wineries around the world, head to Bangkok Wine Expo 2019 on Feb 22.

Wines from Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South Africa and the USA will be on offer, including ones from Schloss Gobelsburg winery in Austria. Established in 1171—over 800 years ago—this is one of the oldest wineries in the Austrian Danube region and the owners, Eva Moosbrugger and her father Peter, will be there to present the wines themselves. For more industry veterans, check out the what's on offer from Jean Louis Trocard. This winery has been running for 15 generations since 1620 and is one of the oldest on the Right Bank in France.

If you're a wine-dummy, this could be your chance to swat up since there will be several Thai sommeliers on hand to answer all your questions.

Tickets are B1,500, available here. The price includes four hours of wine tasting as well as some light bites to soak it all up. You can also opt for a ticket that includes a special three-course chef's table dinner from B4,000, including wine-tasting.
