Who’s in: Mind is a party animal, but Best wants a quiet drink. To make things worse, Aum hates traffic and says she wants to stay in one spot all night.
The solution: With its rooftop views of Thonglor, the charismatic open-air Roof Hideaway makes for a perfect place to soak up the night breeze. Along with your drinks, order some savory dishes from their expansive menu that fuses Western and Eastern flavors, like the highly recommended grass-fed tenderloin with truffle risotto. Afterwards you and your girls can dance off the calories at the downstairs Muse Nightclub.
Drink this: Don’t be shy to order whisky on the rocks. But make sure you don’t miss the special promotion of two bottles of Chivas Regal Extra at B3,800 and get a voucher to use the service “U Drink I Drive” (valued at B1,500, limited availability and conditions apply), offering a ride to your home safely after your fun-filled night.
159/8 Thonglor Soi 10, 089-988-5995 and 087-888-5599. Muse opens Tue-Sun 7pm-2am and Roof Hideaway opens daily 6pm-2am. BTS Thong Lo. Facebook: Roof Hideaway / Musebkk
Who’s in: Tonight, the gang is in the mood for a bit of sophisitication and old-world charm. How about dinner and drinks?
The solution: Set in a 100-year-old house painted bright pink, Namsaah just oozes nostalgia and charm jazzed up by a playful pop edge in the decor’s kitschy palette. The menu here was created by one of Thailand’s most globally recognized chefs, Ian Kittichai, and adds twists to Asian comfort food—with drinks specially designed to match. The creative appetizers include salmon tartare wonton tacos, while one highly recommended main is the Drunken Lobster, which comprises Canadian lobster on top of Thai-style stir-fried noodles with green pepper corn, hot basil, chili and garlic.
Drink this: They have some of the best cocktails in town. But come mealtime, to go with the spicy flavors, the restaurant serves Jacob’s Creek Lamoon (B210/glass and B1,100/bottle, promo price valid until Nov 15), designed to pair with fiery Thai dishes thanks to its fruity profile and silky tannins.

Wine I Love You
Who’s in: Work is over and the girls figure that there’s no point in heading straight home this late in the week. Besides, it’s raining and traffic will be a nightmare.
The solution: The city’s favorite wine bar chain has expanded its empire to the futurist Groove annex at CentralWorld. Amid the handsome bistro decor, it serves up a range of international comfort food, from pizza and pasta to cheese platters, to accompany the floor-to-ceiling selection of wines from all around the world.
Drink this: For a refreshing fruity tipple, we recommend the Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Moscato Rose (B1,150), a bubbly whose light and refreshing taste of berry is balanced with a hint of pear. For an ideal combo, order it chilled along with a platter of brie cheese.
Who’s in: Everyone is feeling a bit lazy and indecisive today. Where should we meet up? Is it drinks? Is it dessert? Is it too early for dinner and too late for lunch?
The solution: Thonglor’s nightlife just keeps growing. Situated on Thonglor Soi 9, the new 9:53 Community Mall offers a list of restaurants and cafes where you could pretty much spend the whole day. Our pick for a classy night out, though, is Hashme European restaurant and bar, which has caused a stir on Instagram for its humungous waffle tower. But that’s far from all that the place has to offer. Come sundown, the bar takes its drink list very seriously. Our tip to complete the night out with the girls? Get a seat out on the balcony to enjoy the rooftop breeze.
Drink this: The signature Extra Coffee Berry is a rich, aromatic coffee-based cocktail that mixes Chivas Regal Extra, syrup, and vanilla with strawberry to cut through the sweetness, topped with cocoa powder.
9:53 Community Mall, 124 Thonglor Soi 9, 02-662-4238. Open Tue-Sun 11am-11pm. BTS Thong Lo. Facebook: Hashme
