You’ll find it behind the bar at all the city's gin-drinking spots.

Australia’s Ink Gin has been causing a big stir on the craft gin scene thanks to its bizarre color.

That purple hue comes from the petals of butterfly peas, which don’t add much in terms of flavor—that’s led by juniper,  lemon myrtle leaf, coriander seed, Tasmanian pepperberry and freshly peeled sundried sweet orange peel—but do help to bind the other flavors together, according to its founder and distiller, Paul Messenger.

You’ll find Ink Gin behind the bar at all of Bangkok’s top gin-drinking spots—Vesper, Teens of Thailand, Bamboo Bar, Il Fumo, etc.

Niks Anuman of Teens of Thailand mixes his Ink Gin and tonic with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water, lemon twist, butterfly pea and fresh lemon juice. Yours for B390.
