The excitement of a Milo van, the satisfaction of a freshly tapped pint

St. Patrick’s Day (Mar 17) is still more than a week away, but the world’s most renowned purveyor of Irish stout can’t wait to share with all in Singapore the festivities they have lined up—so they’re coming to your work places instead.

From now till Mar 13, a Guinness van will be travelling around various office hotspots, offering anyone and everyone a complimentary glass of Guinness draught, or if drinking during midday isn’t your thing, a free cup of creamy Guinness-infused ice cream instead.

There will be a total of four van activations: at Mapletree Business City on Mar 6 from 11.30am-2.30pm; at Guoco Tower on Mar 7 from 3pm-7pm; at Gogovan’s office (18 New Industrial Road) on Mar 12 from 1pm-3pm; and at The Exchange @ Asia Square on Mar 13 from 12pm-2pm. And if there’s a “Pat” in your name, you can also net exclusive Guinness merch while you’re at it.

If you can’t make it to any of the above roving van locations, a few mini festivals will also be happening around town. Head over to Cuppage Terrace/Peranakan Place found right opposite Somerset MRT on Mar 8 for $10 Guinness pint promos and games, or to Far East Square/China Square on Mar 14 for one last bout of drinking before the main St. Paddy’s weekend.

It all culminates to two highlight events. Happening from Mar 15-17 is the return of the St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival once again taking over Circular Road, where there’ll be plenty of singing, dancing and drinking on the streets. Then on Mar 16 is the all-new St. Patrick’s Festival, a one-day event taking place from 1pm-10pm where things like a Vespa tour, pop-up KTVs, masterclasses, good food, and of course Guinness dark beer, will keep you going all night.

Whatever you do, you’d want to sign up on their website first in order to qualify for perks like $5 off Guinness pints at participating bars and restaurants, free entry to the aforementioned festival, Grab coupons and more. It’s all the incentives we need to let us all get together this St. Patrick’s Day.
