Virgin Active is heading to the western part of Singapore
It's their first time out of the CBD
Good news westies, the famed fitness chain Virgin Active is opening their third outlet near you. It's located on the third and fourth level of the new Raffles Holland V mall and has already opened its doors on May 13. This will be their first outlet outside of the CBD area (one's at Raffles Place and the other's at Tanjong Pagar).
The Holland V outlet spans across 11,000 sq ft and houses five workout studios, including a dedicated Pilates Reformers Studio that you can't find at the other two Virgin Active clubs in Singapore. Expect the best of the classes from their Raffles Place and Tanjong Pagar branches to be featured in the new space, and a special focus in group exercising programmes.
Enjoy over 140 classes scheduled weekly. Dance your troubles away with Pulse by Clubbercise, where you'll pump it out with club anthems and glow sticks on your wrist for 45 minutes. There's also Sufferfest, but don't be put off by its name. It's essentially an indoor cycling class introduced exclusively for Virgin Active Holland V from June onwards. Here, you'll get to experience a combination of performance-based HIIT workouts and heart-pumping music. Or if you want to develop the muscles you never knew you had, try out their Pilates Reformer sessions where you'll carry out cardio routines on their Pilates Reformer beds.
You won't even have to worry about bringing your cumbersome yoga outfits and gears, because workout tops, bottoms, socks and towels are provided for you. A 12-month membership plan starts from $50 per week. Find out more here.
