Featuring more than 200 works of art by over 70 artists, SPOT ART aims to reflect current trends in the Asian art market, so expect some great finds here.

As one of the first recipients of Singapore Tourism Board's Kickstart Fund, the new international visual arts festival, SPOT ART, happening from October 25 to November 4, features the work of Southeast Asian artists aged 30 and below.

The event comes at a busy time in the local art scene,with Singapore Biennale, which will run in parallel with SPOT ART  at Singapore ARTrium, and the Affordable Art Fair that takes place in November. Organised by Jerry Gunn and Mary Pan, the event features emerging talent from Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, claiming to bring the finest contemporary art produced by young artists together with leading experts and art buyers. 

The event's curators selected work from graduates and associates of reputable art universities, with the intention of showcasing art of only the highest standard. Under the slogan “The Best of the New”, SPOT ART aims to innovate and bring to Asia the finest work from around the world.
