Sleeping next to your phone

Several weeks after the World Health Organization warned us of a possible cancer risk to users of cell phones, Thailand ups the ante. Our very own Telecommunications Consumer Protection Institute claims Thais are at an even higher risk because we tend to place our cellphones near our heads while sleeping. This is according to a recent poll claiming 64% of us engage in this reckless practice. Also, GSM phones (still the norm here) are 100 times more radioactive than 3G ones.
