Reduce, reuse, recycle!

With clean air and streets a positive byproduct of Covid-19, Museum Siam is teaming up with Earth Day Network and 11 other organizations in Thailand to keep the ball rolling.

The “Chapter Two of Waste'' project aims to inform Thai people about proper waste management in the aftermath of Covid-19, encouraging citizens to reduce, reuse and recycle in order to protect the environment.

Participation is open to everyone and you can start at home by sorting your waste into three categories: plastic bottle caps, plastic bottles, and paper receipts. You can then drop your waste in the recycling boxes at Museum Siam. The sorted waste will then be delivered to three major organizations—Precious Plastic, Chak Dang Temple, Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited—to be reused and recycled into items such as household goods, monk robes, and notepads.

Waste donations are welcome at Museum Siam starting from May 1.
