Local talents and artists take centerstage at the Aliwal Arts Centre next year
More than 50 art groups and artists will hold special performances and exhibitions during Singapore Art Week.
The vibrant Aliwal Arts Centre will celebrate next year's Singapore Art Week (Jan 13-19) with quite a bang. Immerse yourself in the creations of these multi-faceted local talents through a series of exhibitions, musical performances and art jams. Watch visual artist Tang Ling Nah as she works with dancers and musicians across different art practices in a unique multi-disciplinary showcase. Participate with performance artist Malvina Tan and a ‘traveling trunk’, as she takes visitors on a nostalgic journey that traces the paths of old immigrants arriving along the Singapore River. On January 18, the Aliwal Arts Centre throws open its doors for a one night festival, featuring an energetic lineup of live bands, DJs, street art and dance performances by some of the city’s most talented artists including Masia One, Fungkimunkees, Darker Than Wax, +65 Drum & Bass, O$P$ and the RSCLS.
