One more green space to save us from the smog.

Benjakitti Forest Park is Bangkok’s newest, biggest green space with an area of around 450 rai–built on land yanked from a former tobacco factory–and nature lovers, Instagrammers, and the Lululemon-clad can’t get enough of the new park extension in Khlong Toei.

Set to be revamped over three phases, Coconuts Bangkok got an early look into the park’s facelift in late 2021, and ever since December 17 guests have been wandering around inside, with the official opening yet to be scheduled and some areas still under construction.

The park includes a six-kilometer nature trail, jogging and biking trails, and, once fully completed, the park will boast four ponds and 7,155 trees–including mangrove, freshwater swamp, and lowland and dry evergreen forest trees. Along the concrete path for jogging and biking, visitors will find a large pond among the trees and flowers.
