Attention, cafe hoppers: the cult Paris-meets-Tokyo fashion brand Maison Kitsune is set to bring its first coffee shop, Cafe Kitsune, to Bangkok by the end of this year.

The new cafe will open on the ground floor of EmQuartier, and while details of the menu for its Bangkok branch have yet to be revealed, fans can expect a slew of the cafe’s “Parisian cool” vibe and unique quirks. Think cute fox-shaped cookies served alongside coffee and other French-Japanese small plates, as well as a curated playlist of laidback tunes and a lineup of chic clothing and lifestyle accessories.

Founded in 2002 as a record label by creative duo Gildas Loaëc (former artistic director of Daft Punk) and architect Masaya Kuroki, Maison Kitsune is a contemporary Parisian fashion brand known for its effortless blend of Paris-meets-Tokyo designs. The brand is easily recognized by its signature fox logo. Kitsune means “fox” in Japanese; according to Japanese mythology, the fox symbolizes versatility and is believed to possess the power to shapeshift into humans.

The Bangkok branch will be Cafe Kitsune’s latest destination, after Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Shanghai, Paris and New York.
