If you've seen Spike Jonze's Her, you know dating human beings is on the way out. This Valentine's, a Silom library is looking to set you up with a good book.

For this month of love, contemporary library The Reading Room is arranging dates for book lovers through its Blind Date with a Book program, starting today (Feb 12-16).

As you'd expect, it's less complicated than an actual blind date--and a whole lot cheaper, too. Those interested can drop by and select from a number of gift-wrapped books (available in both Thai and English).

You and your new fling can then go home and spend a month getting to know each other intimately.

The real fun part is that the book comes with a tiny score card for you to fill in, giving you the chance to spill your heart about your new partner. Don’t worry, if he or she just isn't your type, you can return the book at any time.

Operating under The Foundation for the Promotion and Preservation of Thai Art, The Reading Room is home to over 1,000 reading materials and arranges talks, reading, and workshops on a regular basis. Join its Facebook group to keep up to date on their new activities.
