Following the wall mural by five renowned Thai artists—Alex Face, Wisut Ponnimit, Yuree Kensaku, Kittiphong Khamsat and Rukkit—the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre's initiative to pay tribute to the late King Rama 9 yields a second tremendous art piece on its wall.

The giant grayscale image of King Bhumibol on the Rama 1 Rd. wall is the size of a 12-story building, or 34x25 sq meters, to be exact, and said to be the biggest image of the king in the world.

Five street artists, Mue Bon, Kanaet, Kittimonto, TK31 and ABI, were joined by students from five art schools to put the image up using the wheat pasting technique.

If you're staying in Bangkok during Songkran, drop by BACC to see this and take a look at other great exhibitions as they're open as usual. The piece will stay through the end of the year.
