With four photo exhibitions opening this month, you get the chance to see portraits of Moscow youth at BACC, landscapes from Bangalore en route to New Delhi at 338 Oida, Miti Ruangkritya's nostalgic series taken in Siem Riep at BUG, and the works of emerging Japanese photographers at GOJA.

Lek Kiatsirikajorn's Lost in Paradise, an exhibition documenting the life of rural laborers who leave their homes and farmer's lives to work in Bangkok, also continues at Kathmandu Photo Gallery through Apr 27. 
 
Moscow Attitude at BACC (Apr 2-30)
Japanese artist Kengo Otake showcases a series of street portrait photographs of young people in Moscow, which were taken during the time he resided in the city and which reminded him of 1980s Tokyo.
 
 
Ballad of a Thin Man at 338 Oida (Apr 3-May 31)
Upon the launch of Kornkrit Jianpinidnan’s new photo book, the photographer exhibits the featured texts and photographs of landscapes along the route from Bangalore to Kashmir, Ladakh and then New Delhi.
 

Fresh Photo Japan at GOJA (Apr 18-May 4)
Held by Japan’s Einstein Studio, this pop-up exhibition aims to promote young Japanese photographers on the international stage. 

 

Emerging Thai Artist: On The Edge at BUG (Apr 26-May 24)
Curated by Ark Fongsmut, the program aimed at promoting up-and-coming Thai artists showcases this nostalgic contemporary photography series by Miti Ruangkritya, who was also one of the selected winners and received an honourable mention from The Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Festival, which explores a contextual change in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
