Operation Bangkok

After a month of traveling around and befriending strangers in Bangkok, Malaysian artist Roslisham Ismail aka Ise has unveiled his project, which turns Bangkok University Gallery into a peculiar laboratory filled with items around the city, from maps and posters to horse betting sheets and doll heads. Operation Bangkok is ongoing until May 24, along with Miti Ruangkritya's photography series On The Edge, which romanticizes Siem Riep's outer reaches on the verge of urbanization.

This group exhibition, whose name is taken from the Burmese version of the paper-scissors-stone game, showcases paintings, installations, video, spray on canvas and photographs by contemporary Burmese artists like San Min, Myat Kyawt, Wai Mar Nyunt, Maung Day, Thoe Htein and Than Htay Maung.
