Why Do You Love Bangkok?
On Mar 16, 2001, BK Magazine’s first issue came out. California Fitness Centers hadn’t adopted the “Wow” yet (or gone bankrupt); Paradorn could still play tennis, and Samak was still governor—and alive. Twelve years is a big deal for us Thai-Chinese. It’s the end of a cycle or something. So let’s pause to celebrate and ask, dear Bangkokians, what is it that you love so very dearly about your beautiful city?
