Nude street artist Ronnachai “Peed” Kumsiri, 26, started a Facebook page this past June under the name Street Nude, Global Warming. The Khon Kaen university graduate and his friends travel around Thailand to take nude photos amid natural and damaged environments, and then post them online with sassy captions in an attempt to stir debate about the ecological impacts of climate change. Here, he discusses his passion for ecology and how his confrontational artwork is viewed in Thailand.
Although all the workshops are fully booked, you can still take part in the talks, all of which will be organized at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Rama 1 Rd. BTS National Stadium) this Jul 17-19. Here’s what’s happening.
