The Hindu event will see millions of devotees plunge into the waters of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati in a magnificent spectacle to cleanse themselves of sin.
There aren’t really any luxe accommodation options in town. But the Grand Continental Hotel will do nicely for a short stay. The cozy establishment has 47 rooms, a pool and an on-site restaurant, bar and pastry shop. Rates start at INR3,500 (S$79) for a Superior Deluxe Room.
