Planning ahead and buying luggage allowance online is now more important than ever. Apart from moving to Don Muang from Oct 1, Air Asia (www.airasia.com) is increasing its baggage fee at counters. From now on, if you don’t buy baggage allowance when booking your tickets online (B300), the fee will increase from B600 to B900 for domestic flights, and from B750 to B1,100 for international flights (for 15kg). The price of excess luggage beyond 15kg has also increased to B525 per kilogram.
