Located on the serene island of Koh Yao Noi, an hour’s boat ride from Phuket airport, Six Senses Yao Noi (076-418-000, www.sixsenses.com/resorts/yao-noi) is set amid lush nature, with rates at B14,500 for a 154-sq-meter “hideaway” pool villa, B19,500 for a 154-sq-meter one-bedroom pool villa with views of Phang-nga Bay, B23,000 for a 181-sq-meter two-bedroom pool villa with sea views and B24,500 for a 181-sq-meter one-bedroom “ocean panorama” villa. All rooms are equipped with a private bar, a wine fridge, an infinity pool and terrace with sun lounges. Rates include a round-trip boat transfer from Ao Por Marina to Six Senses Yao Noi. For Six Senses Samui (077-245-678, www.sixsenses.com/resorts/samui), the rates for Thai residents are B10,000 for a 130-sq-meter hideaway pool villa, B13,500 for a 160-sq-meter pool villa and B15,500 for a 160-sq-meter ocean view pool villa. If you stay two nights, you’ll also receive a complimentary massage treatment. 

 

For a convenient stay in Pattaya, check out the recently opened Grand Bella (038-428-104, www.grandbella.com). Located centrally, near Pattaya Second Road, the hotel offers six room types ranging from a 32-sq-meter superior room to a 75-sq-meter grand suite. Colorfully furnished, all rooms are equipped with a full-size fridge, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. There’s a large swimming pool surrounded by day beds, too. Rates are B1,100 for a superior room and B3,600 for a grand suite.
