The Mandarin Oriental KL's "Cultural Photography Journey II" package is cheaper than the cost of the camera.

Photography tours are kind of hot right now, but this one includes use of an expensive, uber hip camera, too! You might want to consider Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur's latest accommodation package for some hands-on photography fun.

Their "Cultural Photography Journey II" package is designed in conjunction with super hip (and not cheap) camera makers Leica. In essence, you ride around in a chauffeur-driven car stopping by the usual highlights like Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, Sultan Abdul Samad Building and more. Your companion is a professional photographer from the Leica store, who will dish out advice on composition, lighting, texture, patterns and contrast—plus, you'll have tons of Instagram-worthy shots to upload during the trip!

The package is MYR1,875 ($732.30) upwards for two consecutive nights' stay, and also includes a complimentary room upgrade and daily breakfast for two at in-house restaurant Mosaic. Visit the hotel's website to book.
