Carrier Tigerair now offers direct flights between Singapore and Lijiang, China.

On October 29, Tigerair announced the introduction of three flights each fortnight from Singapore to the 800-year-old city of Lijiang in the Yunnan Province of China, introduced in an effort to further expand the airline's flight route network.

Flights depart and return on Tuesday and Saturday, or on Thursday, depending on the week of travel, leaving Singapore at 9.15am and returning from Lijiang at 2.20pm. Return fares are available for $254.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lijiang is known for its pristine landscape of snow-capped mountains, including the 5,500m Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, where you can hike and bike.
