Just in case Singapore's musical offerings aren't enough (or are too mainstream), there's another reason to book that quick weekend trip to Thailand.

Eco-friendly music and arts festival Wonderfuit is back this Dec 17-20 at Siam Country in Pattaya. This year, they've roped in eight international indie acts like Germany's Dapayk Solo, American indie rock band The Faint and a slew of electronic DJs including Howie B and Jon Hopkins and Chris Levine's IY Project. Rounding off the international roster is live electronica band Submotion Orchestra, but there are also a slew of Thai bands playing like Desktop Error, Mahajamreon and Polycat.

The four-day festival also has an artisan market, a fashion design tent dedicated to Thai labels, interactive art installations by local and international artists and performances in the Molam Bus, a traveling Isaan cultural station curated by the Jim Thompson Art Center. There's also something for foodies as the expansive site has a fully functioning farm growing crops like asparagus, mushroom, herbs and even pumpkins that chefs (and you) can forage for and cook on-site.

If all that gets you weary, head over to the Healing Village for some massages, reiki sessions, meditation classes, storytelling sessions and even a good old fashioned drum circle. Plus, with four days on the grounds (yes, you can set up tents or rent some) there are plenty of dedicated spaces to swim, run, bike and play games.

Tickets start at $138 for an adult Sunday pass and go up to $217 for a full four-day pass. If you're going with a group of six, they've got a party pass going for $1,109 for four days.
