THAI Airways (www.thaiairways.com) recently kicked off the low season with special fares between Bangkok and domestic destinations. For example, a one-way ticket is B1,930 to Khon Kaen, B2,185 to Chiang Mai, B2,630 to Phuket and B2,905 to Hat Yai. Seats are limited and rates include fuel surcharge but exclude airport taxes. Tickets valid until Jun 30 but you need to hurry: we tried booking on some dates and seats had already run out.
