TAT has announced a year-long celebration of the agency’s 60th anniversary, offering special deals across 60 provinces in Thailand during winter, summer and the rainy season.
Aptly called “60 Happiness Routes,” the campaign is highlighting special destinations each season, as voted on by travelers, in an effort to boost domestic tourism. TAT is also partnering up with travel providers to offer, among other things, special prices for flights on Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Thai Smile, Nok Air and Air Asia; deals on car rentals with Grab, Budget and ASAP; 60 buy-one-get-one deals on the Banyan Tree’s new Saffron river cruise; and deals on hotels via traveligo.com and hellolocal.travel.
Everyone who uses
the campaign’s website (Thai language only) are eligible for prizes like free flight tickets and tour packages, and travelers turning 60 years old this year will have a chance to purchase certain packages on the campaign’s website for just B60 on
Jan 26. In September, TAT will run a lucky draw that will gift tour packages worth a total of B1,000,000, too.
