So, who's going to bring Mac DeMarco or Anderson.Paak to Bangkok?

The Singapore leg of the Laneway Festival (singapore.lanewayfestival.com) just announced its 2018 lineup, and we're jealous.

Indie-rock poster artists Mac DeMarco, The War on Drugs and Father John Misty lead a 15-strong list that includes shoegaze veterans Slowdive, experimental R&B artist Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals and electronic producer Bonobo.

Also set to perform at The Meadows, Gardens by the Bay, on Saturday, Jan 27, 2018 are Aldous Harding, Amy Shark, Billie Eilish, Loyle Carner, Moses Sumney, Rolling Blackouts, Coastal Fever, Sylvan Esso, The Internet and Wolf Alice.

Since 2011, the Australian-born indie music festival has brought a plethora of new and old acts to Singapore. Tickets for this year's event go on sale from Oct 5 at 10am on www.apactix.com from B3,550 per ticket throughout October or B3,870 afterwards. Discounts apply for group purchases, too.

Excited? Flights from Bangkok to Singapore with AirAsia (www.airasia.com) at that time currently cost around B3,826 round-trip.
