Singapore Airlines unveils incredible new first class suites
Hotel rooms in the sky.
There’s nothing quite like your own bed. The next best thing, though, might be Singapore Airline’s (www.singaporeair.com) new first class suites.
The carrier has refurbished its Airbus A380's luxury offering, reducing the 12 old suites to six new ones, effectively doubling your personal room. Each suite has a bed (a real bed, not a manipulated chair), a leather armchair, a 32-inch HD screen and Bose noise-canceling headphones.
Change has also come to Business class, where the seats are wider and more space-agey. Economy seats have been, uh, reupholstered. Admittedly, those seats weren’t bad to begin with.
Fly the new first class from Dec 18 between Singapore and Sydney. The cost of a good night’s sleep? Approximately B407,142/round trip.
