Japan fans, you can soon fly directly to Okinawa
The island life awaits.

Getting from Singapore to Okinawa normally calls for a transit in Hong Kong, Taipei or Tokyo, but thanks to SilkAir, you’ll be able to fly direct later this year. The airline will be operating seven chartered flights between Singapore and Naha, the capital of Okinawa Prefecture, between Jun 1 and 25.
Japan’s southernmost prefecture, Okinawa is known for its beaches, cuisine and rich culture. It’s also home to Shuri Castle – part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and the famed Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium.
Bookings can be made through 10 travel agents (see the full list here) including Chan Brothers. Their five-day Okinawa self-drive package is available from $1,298.
