It even has its own beachside Peppina—if you're quick enough.

So many things are happening on Cha-am and Hua Hin’s hotel scene right now. After the hype of So Sofitel and the total rebuild of Marriott Hua Hin, now The Regent Cha-am Beach Resort (032-451-240-9, regent-chaam.com) has also gone through a major, B100-million revamp.

The old deluxe rooms (rates starting from B4,400/night) have been spruced up with a colorful new look, while fresh landscaping has brought added style to the beachfront pool along with the Cabana, beachfront seatings and the Sky Terrace, a new al-fresco function space on the beachfront for party or wedding.

One more reason to book a room here is that it’s home to the latest branch of Bangkok-born pizza specialist Peppina, which is running a Neapolitan-style beachside pizza pop-up RegentXPeppina at the hotel through May 12. Try its signature Regent Pizza which comes with big chunks of crabmeat, squid and shrimp, made even more flavordful with a slice of lime.

And don’t worry about those calories: you can burn them off at the hotel’s newly built Regent Bike Park, which features a mountain bike trail divided in two parts; the three-kilometer amateur lane and the 4.5-kilometer advanced lane. Bike rental is B100 per day with a helmet.
