Phuket’s leading zipline service, Flying Hanuman, has opened a new location in the south of the island. Hanuman World (062-979-5533, goo.gl/93jXSZ) lets you fly through the canopies stopping off at either 16 (B1,900) or 30 stations (B2,700).

The main attraction, though, is the Roller Coaster zipline, which flings you along an 800-meter-long line at speeds of 60km an hour. This ride is usually priced at B1,700 per person, but Thai nationals can currently enjoy a reduced price of B1,000 per go.

Away from the high-wire adventures, you can also take a leisurely stroll along the skywalk and dine at the on-site restaurant, Wanon (meaning monkey), which serves international as well as tangy Southern Thai food. Try the Hanuman Prasanguy (Southern-style coconut curry with sator beans) served with shrimp chili paste while taking advantage of the 1.5-hour unlimited beer buffet at B499 per person. Available daily from 8am-10pm.
