Four rai of Phuket’s interior has been given over to the island’s hottest new shopping spot, Chillva Market (099-152-1919, www.fb.com/Chillvamarket).

A 10-minute drive from Phuket’s Old Town, the new outdoor market on Yaowarad Road boasts two zones: a container market which opens daily from 4-10pm, and a flea market zone open Thu-Sat from 4-10pm.

Between the two, you’ll find more than 300 stalls selling local crafts and design products along with food stalls and even tattoo shops.
