The new Rosewood sits atop Cambodia's tallest building
A room with a view in the heart of Phnom Penh.
Having just launched in Phuket last year, swanky hotel chain Rosewood is expanding its luxurious territory to Phnom Penh, taking over the top 14-floors of the dragon-like Vattanac Capital Tower—Cambodia's tallest building at 188 meters high.
Rosewood Phnom Penh's 175 rooms each come with spectacular views of the city, from the Mekong River to the Tonle Sap, and urban-contemporary interiors that reflect the close-knit ties between French and Khmer architecture. Neutral colors, dimmed lighting and brown flooring all contribute to the warm ambiance, with rates starting at B6,945/night for a 50-sq-meter Executive King room.
Head there before the end of September to take advantage of their exclusive package offers, like A Taste of the Kingdom, which combines a one night stay, one-way limousine airport transfer, daily breakfast, 24-hour late check out and 25-percent off at the hotel dining venues, from B9,147.
For something even more luxurious, the Mekong Indulgence package offers the added extravagance of staying in a suite with your own personal butler service, plus round-trip limousine transfers, a 90-minute spa treatment and dinner for two at Brasserie Louis (from B16,630 for the 65-sq-m Mekong Suite or B39,913 for the 95-sq-m Rosewood Suite).
The hotel lies a short-walking distance from the city center market, or for something even closer to home, check out their romantic 37th-floor rooftop bar, with its industrial retro design and dedicated whiskey bar.
