After delivering us dirt-cheap passages to Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai earlier this year, low-cost airline NokScoot (www.nokscoot.com) is now launching direct Bangkok-Delhi flights starting this Dec 18.

Four weekly flights depart Don Mueng in Bangkok for Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday; while return legs take place Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.

Delhi, India's capital, is a historic, millennia-old city packed with forts, ruins, tombs and sacred monuments that stand as testament to the many civilizations that ruled from there. Today, it’s one of the greenest and most populous megalopolises in the world, offering stunning sights and unforgettable only-in-India experiences.

NokScoot's opening promotion sees one-way economy flights starting at B3,100 (tax and fuel surcharge included, available for booking from Dec 11-31) for travel from Dec 18, 2018 to Mar 30, 2019—altogether, you could score a round-trip for B6,200, a nice price when you compare it with the likes of Air India (from B9,589 round-trip) and Jet Airways (B8,659).

The airline says it will launch even more flights to India, Japan and South Korea in 2019.
