This local startup helps tourists travel to Singapore luggage-free (well, almost)
With local startup Packnada, travelers can leave their clothes behind in Singapore, have them laundered and then retrieve them once more during their next visit.
Your jetsetting international friends will love you for this piece of news: travelers who frequent Singapore can now fly virtually luggage-free with Packnada, a revolutionary service that offers tourists the convenience of storing their clothes and essentials in Singapore, then receiving their freshly laundered and pressed clothing from their hotel concierge upon their next arrival.
Launched just last month, Packnada takes away the process of packing (or reduces it to a bare minimum), so travelers can bid goodbye to baggage delays, lost or overweight luggages and other common gripes. Users of the service can leave up to 20 pieces of clothing behind at any local hotel (for as long as three months), and these will be laundered and delivered to them the next time they check in.
Feeling skeptical? Packnada's offering new users free trials for their first two trips—fees are charged at a flat rate of USD99 (S$123) per trip thereafter. The service is currently only available for travelers entering Singapore, but with luck, it may well be available in more countries around the region in future. Keep those fingers crossed!
