The Laguna Phuket Triathlon (LPT) (www.challengelagunaphuket.com) returns for the 20th time this Nov 24. The entry fee for Thai residents is B2,500 while it’s B6,000 for non-Thais. To celebrate the big 20, the largest operator in Southeast Asia is launching its inaugural Challenge Laguna Phuket Tri-Fest 2013 from Dec 1-7. The week-long event offers longer, more challenging triathlon activities such as swimming for 1.9 kilometers, bike riding 90.1 kilometers and running for 21.1 kilometers. The entry fee for Thais is B3,000 and B7,750 for non-Thais.
