With the resurgence of tiki-themed nightclubs and bars springing up in Bangkok, it’s about time Khao Yai has one of their own. Lamaya is a restaurant, bar, and club located at the entrance of Lacol Khaoyai - A Chatrium Collection.

The interiors are grand, with two stories of interwoven bamboo architecture and a giant Mayan centerpiece, making you feel like you’re in a tribal village with a mountain view both in the front and back. The labyrinth of zones maintains a lively vibe. The area is lush and tropical with a forest worth of greenery, reeds, and rushes. Artworks adorn the walls among animal-printed seating and thatched roofing. The outdoor zone, called Eden, boasts natural light, rattan lanterns, plush sofas, vines draping the walls, and bamboo architecture.

On the plate, there’s a fusion of Italian and Thai for lunch and a steakhouse with additional Western food for dinner, including pasta, meats, salads, seafood, and salads. But the experience doesn’t end with dining. Every night, while enjoying your meal and drinks, Lamaya puts on performances with fire shows, acrobatics, live singing, dancing, and rotating DJ sets. This, combined with full light, color, and sound shows.

As the sun sets, Lamaya becomes a nightclub with two distinct zones. The Central Zone will be playing house, techno, and electro tropical rhythms, while the Fortune Room, equipped with a cocktail bar, plays funky vibes, R&B, and hip-hop.
