After unveiling new farm-to-table restaurant Pru (see goo.gl/mGkQDy), Northern Phuket pool villa-only resort Trisara (www.trisara.com) has renamed, renovated and relaunched its spa.

 

Jara’s six villa-like spa rooms offer four different signature mixed oils and what they dub a “Thai thermal massage,” which features a clay pot filled with heated Himalayan salt and incorporates elements of meditation.

 

The five-hour Jara Local treatment includes a Thai herbal scrub and wrap, Thai thermal massage, Thai stretching (Rue Sri Dat Ton) and walking meditation by Buddhist monks—yours for B15,500 (or B30,000 per couple).

 

Other options include the 90-minute Royal Trisara six-hand massage, which combines Thai and Swedish massage techniques at B14,900. We recommend requesting a sea-view spa room.
