Three Northeastern hospitality businesses recently joined forces under the name of Isan Boutique Collection (IBC) to promote tourism in the region. Each participating resort is offering travel packages that include trips to their provinces’ main attractions. 
Located in Loei’s Ban Kok Pai in Pak Chom district, Mekong Villas (02-222-1290, www.mekongvillas.com) boasts stunning views of the Mekong River and Laos. The resort is offering a four-day-two-night package at B70,000 for two people, which includes full board, cruise and picnic along the Mekong and trips to Chiang Khan Village, mushroom farms, Phu Rue National Park and Nong Khai. 
 
Set in the lush Dansai Valley in Loei, Phunacome Resort (042-892-005/6, www.phunacomeresort.com) is offering a three-day-two-night package at B35,000 for two people, which includes meals; a class on how to make ton puoeng, which is used by locals as a sacred offering to Sri Song Rak pagoda; a bike tour to explore Dansai Valley; visits to Pra That Sri Song Rak pagoda and Neramitre Vipassana Temple; and a day trip to Phu Rua where you can visit Chateau de Loei vineyard and Nong Bong Flower Market. You can also take part in activities like rice cultivation, organic-vegetable planting and a cooking class.
 
Located in the northeastern part of Khon Kaen, Supanniga Home (089-944-4880, www.supannigahome.com) is offering a three-day-two-night package at B25,000, which includes a cooking lesson, Thai dinners and a trip to Chonabot district to learn how the locals produce the village’s renowned handmade madmee silk.
