Featuring 30 artists split over 30 venues, it's a good excuse for a long walk too.

The forever-summer resort destination Hua Hin is gearing up for the first ever Hua Hin Photo Festival, a month-long celebration of photography that's set to launch this Apr 29.

And this isn't your ordinary exhibition. Featuring 30 Thai artists split over 30 venues along Naeb Khehat Road, the festival spans a very walkable 700 meters.

Names involved include Tom Potisit, Anuchit Sundarakiti, Thanakorn Chai Telan, Ausadavut Sarum, Menoevil Aow, Pornsak Na Nakorn, Poomjai Attanun, Nadda Pare Srithongdee, Kornsorn Prakobkhong aka 9d, Alizz Vichchou and Pop Fineart. Notable venues participating include famous dessert cafe Ban Tua Yen, White Home, Ban Klai Wang and Living Room.

The grand opening on Apr 29-May1 will take place at the beach at the end of Hua Hin Soi 51, aka Thanon Tok Beach, where the artworks will be joined by live musical performances from acoustic guitarist Cheepchanok Sriyamart and Honon Handpan, a Hang or "handpan" duo.

The photo festival will run until May 29 with a detailed map to be release soon. Keep up-to-date at www.fb.com/huahinphotofest.
