Missed out on Chiang Mai's super-pretty Camp Meating last winter? Here's a sizzling summer edition.

After a very successful run from the Chiang Mai edition of Camp Meating, the chic (and little bit Wonderfruit-esque) outdoor barbecue dinner known for its folksy charm and picturesque surroundings promises to return this Mar 31 with a summer edition, set to take place on a hidden beach in Hua Hin.

The beach barbecue gathering will take place every Thu-Sun through the end of April. A barbecue set is B1,000 per person (excluding soft drinks and alcohol) and consists of seasonal vegetables, mixed mushrooms, a small seafood platter and a bread basket. You also have the option to pay extra for a main dish: French cut pork chop, premium dry-aged Angus beef, New Zealand lamb chops or Canadian lobster.

Dinners start at 5pm, with some organized activities through 10pm. It's reservations only and there are limited slots available per day. Book yourself a pretty barbecue spot now at 090-404-9500.

The barbecue is a welcome addition to the area—other recent openings include the luxury Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, design-focused SO Sofitel Hua Hin and cute hostel Santorini Park Stay).
