Tu Kab Khao
The team behind local Thai-fusion restaurant Table Spoon transformed a 120-year-old building into a villa-like eatery serving Southern recipes. In addition to classics moo hong (braised pork belly) and mee gaeng pu (crab curry with noodle), they also have handsome cocktails like Baba-Nyonya, which plays on Peranakan culture by mixing two glasses into one drink, symbolizing the inter-marriage between Chinese men and Malaya ladies.
The Avenue
This rustic-industrial bar serves Thai and Western favorites, from French press coffee to serious cocktails and craft beers. Happy hour every Wednesday and Thursday from 5-8pm offers buy-one-get-one-free on all cocktails.
Bookhemian 2521
This bookstore in a Sino-Portuguese shop-house underwent a major renovation to include a dessert and coffee counter serving single-origin drip coffee from Bangkok’s most reputed roasters. Their backyard serves as a space for art exhibitions, workshops and cinema nights.

This daily market is filled with vendors selling handmade goods, accessories and decor. The highlight, however, is the large food truck zone selling sushi, pizza, burgers and more.

At this community mall vendors must be conscientious businesses who give back to society through their crafts and products.
