Here's one more reason to (re)visit Bali's Potato Head Beach Club
The food and nightlife mini-empire is holding its inaugural Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival from August 20 to 21.
We're excited about Potato Head Folk in Singapore, but we do miss the beach! Head to Bali to experience the original Potato Head Beach Club in all its sun-drenched glory. Plus, the nightlife mecca is holding its inaugural Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival on August 20 and 21, which will feature lots of bespoke cocktails by celeb mixologists (definitely not your usual boozy music festival fare) alongside performances from international musicians like Britpop darling Ellie Goulding, US rapper Azealia Banks and electronic artist Goldroom. Plus, you might just get to be served drinks actually mixed by some of the musicians themselves (we would gladly drink random swill by Ms Goulding's hand...maybe not).
Tigerair can whisk you to Bali from around $205 upwards (for a return ticket), while festival tickets are already on sale at www.sunnysideupfest.com—a one day pass costs IDR800,000 ($84.42) upwards, while a two-day pass will set you back IDR1,400,000 ($147.24).
