Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai (www.dharadhevi.com) has rolled out a "family fun experience" package, which offers an educational, yet still relaxing family getaway. 

Priced at B59,000, the package includes four days and three nights stay in the resort's spacious, deluxe colonial suite for two adults and two children.

There are scheduled kid's activities for children under 12 to enjoy, such as traditional lantern making, painting and yoga. While the kids are occupied, parents can sneak away to the on-site spa, where they will be able to enjoy a complimentary 60-minute treatment. The whole family also get to experience a private rice planting experience, which comes with a neat souvenir photo. 

The offer is valid through Sep 30 and comes with a daily American buffet and Thai set dinner for two (don't worry, there's also a kid's menu). If you wish to stay any additional nights, you'll get a special rate of 18,500 per night with a complimentary American breakfast buffet for all.
